Dexter Patterson took he’s maiden LGM win yesterday at the Rowrah circuit in Cumbria. Four different winners at the first four rounds, how close can it be !. Local hero Jonny Edgar had to sit out the race after braking his wrist in a pre club race, the week before and will also stand down at Buckmore Park. With six different heat winners, it was Patterson that placed his kart on Pole Position, with a very fast Albert Carter on grid 2. For the first time in the LGM, a standing start was used and Patterson got away well, with team mate and now championship leader Tom Wood in pursuit. These two pulled clear of the rest quickly, with Kiern Jewiss and Carter 3rd and 4th, unable to close on the front two. With a punctures in heat 1, Alex McDade had endure the B final, but his rapid pace brought him through the pack. With no Jonny Edgar, the Fusion Team were leaders Teddy Wilson & Zach Robertson again unable to bridge the gap to the back of Carter in 4th. Two laps to go and Wood made his move, but Patterson wanted to win this one and quickly got back in front, but the two slowed each other and the AIM motorsport boy’s had a small coming to together allowing Jewiss & Carter to close.

Dexter PattersonIn to the final corner, Jewiss had his move on Wood, but slowed allow Carter up the inside and beating him to the flag. Patterson half a second clear and a very deserved win, Wood 2nd racked up the points with the fastest lap, and Carter had his first trip to the podium 3rd just piping Jewiss. Robertson & Wilson finished 5th & 6th with a hard charging McDade coming through to 8th from the B final. Top privateer again was Ben Wooldridge coming in 12th.
