CHANGE OF VENUE FOR ROUND 2/3

18th November 2016

It comes with regret that the LGM will be dropping the Nutts Corner event due to competitors advising us they do not wish to make the trip across the water to Ireland. Round 2 has therefore been changed to the GYG circuit in Wales on the same weekend with just a Sunday race 28th May. The new calendar can be found below with 8 rounds instead of usual 9. Remember if you require certain race numbers it is first come first serve, with the current driver lists for all classes appearing later this month.  It is still only £100 to registister for series for 2017 so don’t delay and register today. The forms can be found below on this site.

LGM Entries Are Open!!

6th November 2016

The LGM entries have now opened for all classes IAME Cadet, X30 Junior, X30 Senior and the Mini X tour.  As the official IAME series we always look to improve year on year with the addition to the 2017 calendar of the superb Nutts Corner circuit in Northern Ireland, a first for the LGM. The track is top class and should provide some great racing over the double header weekend. Monday will see an early finish to allow drivers and teams to return by boat Monday afternoon, this will also be assisted by a ferry company for a very low flat rate, should it be a car, van or truck, with arrangements through the LGM series. The ever popular Rowrah will also see the August bank holiday double header, again two rounds but one lot of travelling, helping to keep the costs down. The X30 classes will also benefit from one set of tyres for both double headers this making the series even cheaper than 2016, with the Iame cadets having the usual one set of wets and drys for the whole year. Testing is limited to the Saturday prior to the round keeping it to a two day race weekend, with the exception of the bank holiday Mondays races. Sponsorship for the 2017 series is arriving with the now legendary prize fund for the year end, plus the new Rivista Magazine will continue to provide the best moments from each race. We look forward to seeing you as part of the UK premier IAME series.
