THE HEAT RISES IN THE LGM AT FOREST EDGE

26th June 2018

Round 4 of the series held at the Forest Edge circuit saw some blistering tempertures in the race. In the Iame cadet, the battle continues as Arvid Lindblad scored another victory making it two a piece with his Fusion rival Freddie Slater who came in 4th. Pole sitter William Macintyre finished 2nd by the smallest of margins 0.01 seconds with Harley Keeble a cool 3rd.  In the Junior X30 Nelson King drove to a clear and easy win from pole and getting the fastest lap, with a strong performance by Tom Fleming to finish 2nd and Joseph Taylor 3rd. In the senior X30 class, Callum Bradshaw was the man, again pole position with 2 heat wins and the final. Stephen Letts was 2nd but suffered a nose penualty allowing Thomas Turner to extend his lead in the table, with Gus Lawrence a great 3rd place. The Mini X tour was a stunning final, with the pack running so tight a tangle on the very last corner between Josh Rowledge & Josh Mclean, allowed Ivan Lomliev to take victory from Cian Shields 2nd and Rashan Chigarimbo 3rd.

Forest Edged Parking

Notice all competitors, Parking for the 4th Rd of the LGM at Forest Edge. The track will be open for set up from 4pm on Friday 22nd. We apologise for this but unfortunately FEKC have tight restrictions on access to the facility

The only petrol permitted for this round is 95 Ron unleaded and the chosen oil is Shell ‘M’ (Cadets only, X30 oil is as per regulation).  A sample will be taken and measured against the datum p

HOT AT KIMBOLTON

Kimbolton saw hot blistering temps for round 3 of the LGM series. The mightly battle in Cadet Iame saw, Freddie Slater get the better of Arvid Lindblad in the last couple of laps to take the win, with change of team Maxwell Dodds finishing 3rd and Sam Shaw 4th. In the Junior X30 class Joseph Taylor lead all the way from the pole to go top of the leader board. On form Thomas Fleming was 2nd and Nelson King 3rd. Georgi Dimitrov choosing to sit this one out. The Senior X30 was a very exicting race with Thomas Turner leading nearly all the way home until Stephen Letts tried a move at the bus stop, which allowed Levi King to take his first LGM win. International racer Callum Bradshaw also managing to get through to finish 2nd, with Turner 3rd. The Mini X tour had quite a number of leaders, but in the end it was Joshua Mclean who took his second win of the year, followed home by a recovering Freddie Spinlow and pole man Josh Rowledge 3rd.
