WILKO TAKES HIS FIRST WIN !

14th June 2016

Jonny WilkinsonKnocking on the door at the first two rounds this year Jonny Wilkinson has finally won his first LGM event, beating strong opposition from his Fusion rivals.  After qualify on grid 4 Wilkinson managed to stay in touch with series leader Harry Thompson & Joseph Taylor.  Wilkinson’s KMS team mate Joshua Rattican also going very well at GYG couldn’t quite get on to the leading three drivers. Near the end Thompson was in command, but a small mistake in the pits corner allowed Taylor and Wilkinson through, with Wilkinson getting the better of Taylor at the top corner, Wilkinson then drove on to the win, with Thompson finding a way around Taylor on the down hill side of the circuit.

Apologies From The LGM TEAM

After a superb GYG saturday testday with lots of track time, the LGM can only apologise to drivers and teams for the delays caused by the timing system operated by Dragon Kart club. The main issue was cause by two drivers fitting the wrong type of transponder which cause the whole system to crash. The weather was a big factor and again caused delays which were out of our control. We will endever to work with the next clubs to make sure the events run smoother and hopefully provent unnecessary delays.

New LGM driver rankings will appear on this site for competitors of the LGM
