Taylor Barnard took first blood
Round 1 at PF International, Fusion driver Taylor Barnard took first blood in the IAME cadet being hard pushed by Matthew Rees with pole sitter Alex Dunne ending up a lonely 3rd. In Junior X30 the 2016 LGM cadet champion Harry Thompson had moved up and showed true class with a display of outstanding driving, in doing so took pole, fastest lap and the win !. Senior X30 was quite the opposite with a super exciting race. Champion Oliver Hodgson went on to win the race only to find he had dropped his nose coming through, the titanic battle with Mark Litchfield, Danny Keirle and Mark Kimber, with the ever present Thomas Turner in the fray. Litchfield ended the day as victor with Hodgson dropping to 8th. The best race of the day by far was the new mini X tour class, outstanding performances from many drivers, but it was Georgi Dimitrov who took a narrow victory from Joseph Taylor. A full in depth race report will be in next month Rivista magazine ready for GYG.
