This weekends double header
This weekends double header round at the Rowrah circuit was dominated by Local boy Jonny Edgar. Round 6, Edgar managed to get the pole position and as lights changed began to move away with Lorcan Hanafin taking the early lead. With the absence of championship favourite Harry Thompson, it was Dexter Patterson who needed to clear the pack from grid 10. Patterson managed to achieve this with a AIM motorsport freight train of five karts behind him, Taylor Barnard, Brandon Martland, Bray Kinneally, and Finlay Bunce. Hanafin decided to push rather than be pushed which increased their pace moving further away from Patterson. As the race went on nothing much changed until Hanafin had a lapse of concentration and caught a kerb dropping him down, Edgar easily maintaining his pace with the gap being large enough for Hanafin to hang on to 2nd. At the line Edgar won by a mere 2 seconds, with Hanafin getting the fastest lap. Top privateer was Alex Walker in 18th overall. Next Round Tomorrow !
